This smoothie is really good for you and it makes a wonderful afternoon pick-me-up or post-yoga cool down drink. It's light and refreshing thanks to hydrating cucumber which is also great for your skin. Fresh mint is wonderful in aiding your stomach with digestion, mango is loaded with vitamin A which is great for your hair & skin and banana is packed with potassium and fiber. I use filtered water and ice cubes as the base to maximize the hydration - another great option is coconut water if you're drinking this after a heavy sweat session.
Makes: 1 smoothie
What You'll Need:
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen mango
1/2 organic cucumber
2 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
1 small fresh mint leaf
10 ice cubes
10 ounces of cold filtered ice water
Simply blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender, pour and serve.
